Lydia Ko's spell without a title has reached three months after a 20th place finish at the LPGA Taiwan Championship in Taipei.

The Kiwi world No.1 closed with a one-over 73, a round rescued by three birdies in her last five holes, to register a three-under tally.

It was 17 shots shy of her winning score at the tournament last year and left her 14 strokes behind Korean winner Ha Na Jang.

Ko hasn't won since clinching the Marathon Classic in Ohio in July - her fourth title of the year.

The period since has included finishes of 40th or worse at two major tournaments - the Women's British Open and the Evian Championship.

However, she has also recorded two top-five finishes and won a silver medal at the Rio Olympics.

The LPGA's Asian swing continues this week at the KEB Hana Bank Championship in Incheon, Korea.
