Labour's media unit head quits

© Twitter The head of the Labour Party's media office has resigned after just over a year on the job.

Sarah Stuart, a former editor of NZ Woman's Weekly, took up the position as director of media and communications with the party in February last year after a three-year study break.

In a statement, Ms Stuart said she had resigned for family reasons and would be stepping down at the end of May.
