Lee misses cut at PGA Tour event

NZ NewswireNZ Newswire 16/04/2016

Danny Lee has missed the cut at the RBC Heritage PGA Tour event in South Carolina after carding a four-over 75 in the second round.

Lee had a triple-bogey on the 18th hole and those three dropped shots ended up being the margin by which he failed to progress to weekend play.

The cut was set at two-over and the New Zealand No.1 ended at five-over after 36 holes at the Harbour Town Golf Links at Hilton Head.

Three players - Australian world No.1 Jason Day, and Americans Kevin Chappell and Charley Hoffman - are tied for the lead at six-under.
