Newly promoted Hull City face the unenviable task of facing Leicester City to open the defence of their English Premier League title.

Leicester City will open the defence of their English Premier League title with a trip to face newly promoted Hull City.

Claudio Ranieri's side will enjoy their first home match as champions against Arsenal, while they will also play Manchester United and Liverpool in the first six rounds.

The full fixture list was released on Wednesday morning with the season due to begin on August 13.

Jose Mourinho's first match in charge of United will be a journey to Bournemouth and Pep Guardiola will begin his Manchester City reign against Sunderland at Etihad Stadium.

New Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will take on West Ham at home in his first match while Arsenal begin against Liverpool.

Mourinho and Guardiola will go head-to-head for the first time as EPL managers on September 10 when United and City meet in the Manchester derby at Old Trafford in a fourth-round showdown.

The two other newly promoted sides, Middlesbrough and Burnley, start with home matches against Stoke City and Swansea respectively.
