LIVE: 'Terrorist attack' at UK Parliament

An attacker has used a vehicle to mow down pedestrians before stabbing a policeman to death outside the UK Parliament. Four people are dead and 20 injured.

- The dead include a police officer who was stabbed and the alleged attacker who was shot by police near the UK parliament.
- Witnesses said the the attacker mowed down several pedestrians as he drove a grey car into railings at the Palace of Westminster.
- At least 20 people, including off-duty police officers and French students, were injured on Westminster Bridge.
- St Thomas Hospital says it is treating people with "catastrophic" injuries
- Police are treating the events as a terrorist incident
- Parliament is in lockdown.
- Prime Minister Theresa May is safe after the incident, her office said.
