Magic Leap, the mysterious augmented reality company, is teaming up with LucasFilm and the ILMxLAB to create immersive Star Wars experiences, the companies announced today at the Wired's Business Conference. We've also got our closest at Magic Leap's technology in action with a demo video featuring everyone's favorite droids, C-3PO and R2D2, and shot on the company's actual hardware.

"The future of Mixed Reality and immersive entertainment holds incredible promise, and we are honored to work with Magic Leap to shape that future," wrote LucasFilm president Kathleen Kennedy in a statement. "At Lucasfilm and ILM, innovation has always been in our DNA; through this collaboration, ILMxLAB further propels our legacy of exploration and leadership on this new platform for experiential storytelling."
