Marco Rubio Is Now Selling #NeverTrump Swag

The Huffington Post The Huffington Post 4/03/2016 Willa Frej

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is amping up his bid to knock Donald Trump out of the top spot for the Republican presidential nomination by selling clothing and accessories stamped with #NeverTrump and #DumpTrump lettering on his website.

"Help Marco defeat Donald Trump," the product descriptions say. And all the items are made in the USA.

Some of the merchandise available for purchase includes a $15 pack of two red signs that say #NeverTrump; a $25 red #NeverTrump hat; #NeverTrump wristbands for $10; and a $30 grey #NeverTrump T-shirt.

One of the items isn't really for sale, however. A note included on the page featuring $10 red #DumpTrump yoga pants says that "you won't actually get #DumpTrump yoga pants, but your $10 donation will help Marco stop him."

The description for the pants features an exchange from Thursday's GOP debate:

"Breathe. You can do it, Breathe. I know it's hard." - Ted Cruz to Donald Trump

"When they're done with the yoga, can I answer a question?" - Marco

"I really hope we don't see yoga on this stage." - Ted

"Well, Donald's very flexible..." - Marco

The #NeverTrump movement grew in popularity after the business mogul's success on Super Tuesday. Rubio and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) are vying to be seen as the better option to replace Trump as the GOP nominee.

Prominent figures in the Republican party intensified the push to disavow Trump this week, openly denouncing him as dangerous, a liar and a fraud. While Rubio joined the movement earlier this week on Twitter, calling Trump a con man, he's also said he'd support the real estate mogul if he were to become the nominee -- meaning his #NeverTrump commitment isn't exactly without qualifications.

Editor's note: DonaldTrump is a serial liarrampant xenophoberacistmisogynist, birther and bully who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims -- 1.6 billion members of an entire religion -- from entering the U.S.
