The Kiwi 20-year-old ends a two-month training stint when she contests the Diamond League event on Friday (NZT), 10 months after her third-place finish at the Rio Games.

Morris, who placed second at Rio, is the only woman in the 11-strong field who has cleared higher than McCartney this year.

The American has produced a 4.84m vault, just 2cm more than the rising New Zealander cleared at the Auckland Track Challenge in February when breaking her own national record.

McCartney's most recent competition was her victory at the Australian championships in April, which featured a best of 4.50m.

She is preparing for the world championships in London in June.
