New Zealand GP2 series driver Mitch Evans has dropped one place to sixth overall after struggling to make an impact in the feature race at the Hungary Grand Prix.

Evans qualified 14th quickest for the 36-lap race at the Hungaroring circuit and spent much of it mid-pack, finishing nearly 25sec behind winner Pierre Gasly.

Another French driver, Norman Nato, slips in front of Pertamina Campos Racing team driver Evans in the standings heading into Sunday's sprint race.

Gasly leads the series midway through the sixth of 11 rounds.
