Spinner Sunil Narine has been named in West Indies' squad for the one-day tri-series with Australia and South Africa as he looks to make his international return following his ban for an illegal action.

Carlos Brathwaite, Marlon Samuels and Darren Bravo are among the familiar faces in a 14-man group captained by Jason Holder, but the likes of Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Darren Sammy and Andre Russell remain absent due to the ongoing dispute between players and the West Indies Cricket Board.

Narine has not played international cricket since November, having been banned by the International Cricket Council.

He was cleared in April following remedial work and a retest on his action, and has since played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League.

The 27-year-old returns along with all-rounder Kieron Pollard, who has been out with injury since November and last played an ODI in October 2014.

Uncapped off-spinner Ashley Nurse and paceman Shannon Gabriel are also included.

The tri-series starts on June 3 when West Indies take on South Africa at the Guyana National Stadium.

West Indies squad: Jason Holder (c), Sulieman Benn, Carlos Brathwaite, Darren Bravo, Jonathan Carter, Johnson Charles, Andre Fletcher, Shannon Gabriel, Sunil Narine, Ashley Nurse, Kieron Pollard, Denesh Ramdin, Marlon Samuels, Jerome Taylor.
