National's Muller and Kuriger stand again

Todd Muller has been re-selected by National to contest the Bay of Plenty electorate and Barbara Kuriger MP will again contest the Taranaki-King Country electorate for National.

Mr Muller was first elected in 2014 and increased National's party vote to more over 21,000 in the last election.

He's currently the deputy chairman of parliament's education and science committee and is a member of the foreign affairs, defence and trade committee.

He highlighted investment in infrastructure in the region and said he had worked hard alongside fellow MP Simon Bridges for more investment in local hospitals and on challenging issues, including domestic violence and emergency housing.

Mrs Kuriger was first elected in 2014 and increased National's party vote to more than 61 per cent. She is deputy chairwoman of parliament's health committee and is a member of the primary production committee.
