Mitch Nichols has been handed a four-match ban after he admitted to cocaine possession in a Sydney nightclub last month.

Football Federation Australia determined the sanction based on Nichols' early admission of guilt and remorse over his arrest in the early hours of May 13 at Casablanca, where he was caught with 1.1 grams of the drug.
