New Zealand have dismantled South Africa 21-5 in an impressive start to the women's youth water polo world championships in Auckland.

Liana Dance bagged five goals while Bernadette Doyle and Nadia Pavlovich scored four each to dominate the first of three pool games.

Their second match is on Tuesday against Spain, who lost their opener 18-6 to Russia.
