Paul Coll and Joelle King will spearhead New Zealand's assault on the squash doubles world championships in Manchester.

A seven-strong Kiwi squad was named for the tournament from August 1-5, where they will hope to at least match their deeds at last year's event in Darwin.

Coll and King, who are both ranked 12th in the world, paired up to win the mixed doubles world title in Darwin.

King also claimed the women's gold medal with Amanda Landers-Murphy while Coll and Campbell Grayson won the men's bronze.

All four are back this year, along with Evan Williams, Lance Beddoes and Zac Millar.
