New Zealand will play off for seventh place at the women's team squash world championship in Paris after being swept 3-0 for a second straight day.

In the opening clash of the team No.1s, Malaysia's Nicol David outclassed Joelle King 11-3 11-3 11-5 to set the tone.

Amanda Landers-Murphy then went down in four sets to 17-year-old Sivasangari Subramaniam to seal the outcome before the third, dead, rubber was lost.

Eighth-seeded New Zealand will face sixth seeds Australia - nine-time tournament champions - in the clash for seventh place on Saturday.
