Marcus Daniell and Brazilian Marcelo Demoliner beat top-seeded Frenchmen Julien Benneteau and Edouard Roger-Vasselin 6-2 2-6 10-7, while Mike Venus and Mate Pavic of Croatia accounted for Santiago Gonzalez (Mexico) and Spaniard David Marrero 5-7 6-1 11-9.
