NZ's help for Fiji after Winston

* $15 million of aid contributed to relief effort

* 530 civilian and military personnel deployed - one of New Zealand's largest peacetime deployments

* 60 NZ army carpenters, electricians, plumbers, plant operators and engineers worked alongside Fijian soldiers to repair schools, medical centres and community buildings

* Close to 500 tonnes of aid supplies and construction materials transported aboard the HMNZS Canterbury and HMNZS Wellington

* Seven aircraft deployed to Fiji including a P-3K2 Orion, a C-130 Hercules, a Boeing 757 and four helicopters

* 45 military vehicles were used to support the aid operation in northern Lau

* Desalination centre on Vanuabalavu Island produced up to 10,000 litres of drinking water
