Police name man in Franz Josef fire

Police have released the name of man who died after a incident in which commercial premises at Franz Josef on the West Coast were engulfed in flames last week.

He was Clive Raymond Jenkins, 40, whose death has been referred to the coroner.

Police were called to Franz Josef Mechanical on Donovan Drive last Tuesday night after reports of a man driving a bulldozer over the property, and a house that was also a workshop being on fire.

A man's body was found at the premises the following day.
