Police name man who died in truck accident

The man who died after being trapped by a truck in a work-related incident in the Queenstown area was an American citizen.

He was Phillip Anderson Loving, 63, who lived in the area.

Mr Loving died after a truck trapped him against a wall while he was working on a septic tank at Closeburn Station on Monday afternoon.

The second man, a 19-year-old who was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital with critical injuries, remains in a stable condition.
