Police seek car in homicide inquiry © AAP Police seek car in homicide inquiry Police have identified a car they are looking for as they investigate the death of a Hamilton man they believe was attacked with a blunt weapon.

The body of Brent Paul Brown, 45, was found on August 31 in the home where he lived in Poaka Avenue.

Police say they are seeking a red Ford Fairmont, with number plate WN5324, in relation to his death.

They believe Mr Brown received multiple injuries from a blunt instrument , but a post-mortem examination has been unable to find the cause of death.

Detective Inspector Hywel Jones said last week that police had spoken to a number of people at the house as part of their homicide inquiry.
