Hundreds of thousands of dollars along with methamphetamine and other drugs have been seized during a police operation in Auckland.

Police arrested 11 people during Operation Disruption - which ends this week - and confiscated drugs and electronic goods that are believed to have been stolen as well as ammunition.

One person was nabbed with close to $400,000 in cash.

Detective Inspector Kevin Hooper says the purpose of Operation Disruption was to smash organised crime within Auckland city.

"We know organised crime and drugs are a driver of crime and cause social and financial harm to communities," Det Insp Hooper said.

"It's satisfying when we can help remove harm from the streets."

Four people who were arrested have been charged with possession of methamphetamine for supply while the others a variety of face drug and property offences.
