On their way to the hospital they stopped at the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder's Office in Boulder, Colorado, to make sure their votes were counted.

Sosha, 31, told TV station KMGH : "We ran over there and kind of made it just in time because shortly after that I was like 'OK, it's time. We got to get to the hospital'."

Before she and her 32-year-old husband, a registered psychotherapist, left the clerk and recorder's office for the hospital they posed for a photo at its "selfie station".
