Price second at Tattersalls Horse Trials

New Zealand eventer Tim Price has improved two spots to second place following a clear showjumping ride at the Tattersalls International Horse Trials in Ireland.

Price produced a flawless display on Ringwood Sky Boy and was comfortably inside the 80sec time limit to retain his score after the dressage phase of 44.9 penalty points.

Among the nine other combinations to go clear was Irish leader Austin O'Connor on Kilpatrick Knight, who sits on 42.3 penalty points heading into Sunday's cross-country.

Kiwi Jock Paget climbed five places to 18th despite knocking down a rail on Angus Blue while Tim Rusbridge is three places back on Oneforthenotebook.

Jonelle Price, the wife of Tim, holds second and third place in the two-star class, riding Cooley Showtime and Ascona M respectively.
