English international Sara Bayman is the last piece of the Central Pulse puzzle as they complete their roster for 2017.

A proven international performer at centre and wing defence, 31-year-old Bayman will bring height and experience to the Pulse midcourt in the new-look national league.

The Manchester Thunder player says a chance to prove herself Down Under was behind her move.

"With the new leagues being established in New Zealand and Australia, everyone wants to play down there and to get the opportunity is just really exciting and I can't wait," she said.

"I'd like to pass on whatever leadership skills and knowledge than I can while soaking up the Kiwi style at the same time."

Bayman was unavailable for the recent Quad Series but captained England in their international series against Australia in January.

She joins Wellington shooter Te Amo Amaru-Tibble in signing for the Pulse who join the Northern Mystics in completing their 10-strong list of contracted players.

PULSE SQUAD: Te Amo Amaru-Tibble, Sara Bayman, Sheridan Bignall, Karin Burger, Ameliaranne Ekenasio, Katrina Grant, Phoenix Karaka, Claire Kersten, Whitney Souness, Cathrine Tuivaiti.
