The form of New Zealand winger Marco Rojas at Melbourne Victory has been acknowledged with a monthly A-League award.

Rojas has scored or assisted in every A-League game he's played in this season, earning him the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) prize as player of the month in November.

The 25-year-old, whose side faces cross-town rivals Melbourne City on Saturday night, said he was delighted to have hit the ground running on his return to Australia after an unsuccessful stint in Germany.

"I'm very happy to be back in the A-League with Victory," he said.

"The support I have received from the club, my teammates and the fans has been brilliant and I'm really enjoying my football."

Rojas missed last weekend's 3-0 win over Western Sydney with a hamstring complaint and could be restricted to bench duties for the derby.

The awards are voted on by A-League players.
