Two senior police officers are set to stand trial in November accused of kidnapping in relation to a mock arrest of a teen in Auckland.

Inspector Hurimoana Dennis, 51, and Sergeant Vaughan Perry, 44 appeared in the High Court at Auckland on Wednesday, having already pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping a 17-year-old on May 5, 2015.

Perry faces a second charge of kidnapping over what police say was an incident at Auckland International Airport on the same day.

The pair have been remanded on bail until their trial on November 6.
