Service station robbed at knifepoint

A man brandishing a knife has dashed from a Palmerston North service station with stolen tobacco pouches and cash.

The man threatened an employee at the BP service station on Main Street at around 9.20pm on Sunday before fleeing the scene.

He is described as a male Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall, athletic and wearing a camouflage jacket, black gloves and beanie.
