Two weeks out from New Zealand's Davis Cup tennis tie against South Korea in Auckland, Artem Sitak has found winning form.

Sitak, ranked 55th in the world, has won the doubles title at the $US50,000 Guadalajara Challenger in Mexico on Monday (NZT).

Sitak and Mexico's Santiago Gonzalez beat Australian fourth seeds Luke Saville and John-Patrick Smith 6-3 1-6 10-5 in the final.

Earlier Sitak and Gonzalez won their semifinal against Swedes Johan Brunstrom and Andreas Siljestrom 6-3 4-6 10-2.

Sitak will pair up with Marcus Daniell in the doubles for New Zealand in their first-round play-off against Korea while Rubin Statham and Michael Venus will play singles.

A loss against South Korea will leave New Zealand one defeat away from relegation into Group Two of the Asia-Oceania division next year.
