Six new faces in Kiwi Ferns Test squad

Six players are in line for their Kiwi Ferns debut in the one-off women's rugby league Test against Australia in Canberra.

New coach Tony Benson unveiled a new-look squad for the Test on May 5, which is curtain-raiser to the men's Anzac Test.

The newcomers are Alexandra Cook, Bunty Kuruwaka-Crowe, Corrina Whiley, Chrystal Tamarua, Madison Bartlett and Ngatokotoru Arakua.

Sarina Fiso has been retained as captain, having led the Kiwi Ferns to a 26-16 win over the Jillaroos in the equivalent Test last year in Newcastle.

Alexandra Cook, Annetta Nuuausala, Atawhai Tupaea, Bunty Kuruwaka-Crowe, Corrina Whiley, Crystal Tamarua, Georgia Hale, Hilda Peters, Krystal Rota, Langi Veainu, Laura Mariu, Lilieta Maumau, Madison Bartlett, Ngatokotoru Arakua, Nora Maaka, Sarina Fiso (capt), Teuila Fotu-Moala, Va'anessa Molia-Fraser.
