Sydney far too good for Perth in A-League

NZN 26/03/2017 Tristan Lavalette

Sydney FC coach Graham Arnold was thrilled with his team's single-minded desire for sustained success.

"It was a wonderful achievement to win the premiership," he said.

"For me, it was about attitude today. It was about standards.

"We've set high standards all year and it was about maintaining those standards.

"They (his players) wanted to win today, that's all they were thinking.

"We totally dominated them."

Perth coach Kenny Lowe was proud of his players despite the lopsided scoreboard.

"At the end of the day, the third one (goal) killed it," he said.

"Was a bit of a momentum change.

"The effort was there but maybe the class wasn't today.

"You can't fault the endeavour and work rate of the players."
