* June 2010: Mr Banks visits Kim Dotcom's Coatesville mansion; Mr Dotcom signs two $25,000 cheques for Mr Banks' Auckland City mayoral campaign, which eventually failed

* May 2013: Serial litigant Graham McCready brings private prosecution against Mr Banks after police decide not to lay charges
