The Secret To Pulling Off Thigh-High Boots With Class

Thigh-high boots are a fall staple. They keep your legs toasty and make any outfit look more pulled together. But sometimes, it can be tricky to figure out how to wear them appropriately with skirts and dresses. 

Thankfully, Toronto fashion blogger Franceta Johnson has shown us how it's done. The key to wearing a short hemline with a pair of thigh-high boots is to choose a pair of boots with a flat heel, so the outfit isn't too sexy (especially for the office). Here, we love how Johnson paired her leather boots with a houndstooth dress (to add a little texture), a denim jacket (to make the look more effortless) and a pair of aviators (to protect her eyes and skin from the sun).
