Rio Paralympians Stephen Hills and Fraser Sharp have been included in a three-strong New Zealand team to compete at the para-cycling world championships in South Africa.

They will be joined in Pietermaritzburg in August by Aucklander Sarah Ellington, who will make her international debut after taking up para-cycling just six months ago.

Like the men, she is a time trial specialist who has impressed with her times at national level.

Hills and Sharp both finished eighth in their respective categories in Rio last September.
