Timberwolves upset the Warriors in NBA

Andrew Wiggins has inspired the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 103-102 victory over the Golden State Warriors in the NBA.

Wiggins scored 20 of his 24 points in the second half and his free throws with 12.8 seconds remaining in the game helped the Timberwolves to triumph.

Klay Thompson scored 30 points for Golden State but it was not enough to prevent a fourth loss in six games for the Warriors, with two-time NBA MVP Steph Curry missing an 18-footer with 5.2 seconds remaining on the clock to potentially win the game.

Wilson Chandler racked up 23 points as the Denver Nuggets beat the Boston Celtics 119-99.

Nikola Jokic added 21 points for the Nuggets as Boston failed to overturn a 20-point deficit in the first half.

The Houston Rockets outscored the Chicago Bulls by 22 points in the third quarter to secure a 115-94 victory.

Ryan Anderson top-scored for Houston with 21 points while Dwyane Wade's total of 21 came in vain.

The Indiana Pacers fell to a 99-85 defeat at the Milwaukee Bucks, who had 21 points apiece from Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton.

The Washington Wizards needed overtime to beat the Sacramento Kings 130-122 with Bradley beal netting 38 points on his way to a double-double.

The Atlanta Hawks saw off the Toronto Raptors 105-99 on the back of 26 points from Dennis Schroder.

The Dallas Mavericks won 105-96 against the Brooklyn Nets while the Charlotte Hornets were resounding 121-81 victors against the Orlando Magic.
