a man standing on a baseball field © Provided by MediaWorks NZ Limited Warriors captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has been scratched from the Warriors team to take on the Parramatta Eels on Friday night.

The exact nature of the injury is yet to be confirmed, but the in-form fullback will play no part in their clash with the bottom-placed Eels at ANZ Stadium.

An exemption has been granted by the NRL to allow Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad to join the squad, where he may take a place on the wing to allow David Fuistua to shift across to cover fullback.

The news is more positive for Mason Lino, who has trained fully with the team this week and is likely to start.

Hooker Issac Luke seems to be over his shoulder injury and has been named as a confirmed starter after missing the loss to the Roosters.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 8pm (NZT).
