NZ Newswire logoNZ Newswire 6/09/2016

The Silver Ferns will take an unchanged squad into their three-Test home series against Jamaica.

Coach Janine Southby is persisting with the same 12-strong group which beat England and South Africa but lost to winners Australia in the Quad Series which finished on Sunday.

Two experienced Northern Mystics players - shooter Maria Tutaia and defender Anna Harrison - have been given further time to recover from injuries.

Both are expected to be available for the Constellation Cup series against Australia in October.

Two squad members are still to make their Test debut - shooter Maia Wilson and defender Storm Purvis.

The series between world No.2 New Zealand and fourth-ranked Jamaica begins in Nelson on Sunday. The remaining games are in Palmerston North and Rotorua.
