NZ NewswireNZ Newswire 14/06/2016

The United States Under-19 women's soccer side, with two goals from Marissa Everett, have come from behind to beat New Zealand A 2-1 in Auckland.

The hosts got off to a great start, Jane Barnett finding the net in the eighth minute with a well-struck shot from outside the box.

But Everett got her brace in the space of three minutes in the second half, connecting with a cross for the first and then finishing off a counter-attack for her second.

US Under-19 have two more tour matches, both against NZ Under-20 in Auckland, on Friday and Sunday.
