New Zealander Michael Venus has risen six places to a career-high tennis doubles ranking of No.33.

It follows his appearance in the final of the Swiss Indoors tournament with Swedish partner Robert Lindstredt.

The final was Venus' ninth of 2016, which has brought four titles for him and his previous partner, Croatian Mate Pavic.

Fellow New Zealander Marcus Daniell remains at a career-high of 50th, Artem Sitak is 59th and Ben McLachlan is up two places to his best 198th.
