Kiwi tennis player Michael Venus has continued his sharp French Open form with a win in the quarter-finals at the ATP tournament in the Netherlands.

Venus climbed to 15th in the world doubles rankings following his triumph at Roland Garros alongside American Ryan Harrison last week.

Shifting from a clay surface to grass and changing partners has posed few problems for Venus.

He combined with Brazilian Andre Sa for a 3-6 6-3 10-8 quarter-final win over third seeds Jean-Julien Rojer (Netherlands) and Horia Tecau (Romania).

Venus and Sa will now face top seeds Lukasz Kubot of Poland and Brazilian Marcelo Melo in the semi-finals.

Venus will reunite with Harrison at Wimbledon in July.

In the Stuttgart ATP tournament, Kiwi Marcus Daniel and Brazilian partner Marcelo Demoliner were beaten by the top-ranked Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike, in the quarter-finals.

The Americans won 6-7(5) 6-3 10-6 in one hour 17 minutes.
