Vin Diesel Reveals Groot Will Dance Again In 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Sequel

Vin Diesel may play some intimidating characters on screen, but when it comes to his personal life, he seriously seems like one of the nicest guys in the Hollywood.

In one of his many live-feed Facebook videos, where he opens his life up to fans and answers their questions, the "Fast and Furious" star gave us some scoop about one of the most anticipated projects in Marvel's lineup -- "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2."

“I can see why my son is so excited about this," Diesel said, after receiving the sequel's script. "James Gunn is such a great writer. I read this script and I go, ‘You’re a great director, and you’re this good [of] a writer too.’ No wonder Marvel is so excited about what you’re doing. No wonder Marvel can’t wait to see 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2.' Yeah, it’s one of those page-turners. You cannot put the script down.”

Diesel said the he was one of 10 people to get their hands on a copy of the script, which also came with a CD entitled "Awesome Mix Vol. 2." Fans of the franchise will remember the integral role "Vol. 1" played in the first film, so we're happy to hear that the music is central to the film's sequel.

After discussing other projects like the next "xXx" and his love for Meghan Trainor, Diesel mentioned how he feels better when he's dancing. He added, “It’s ironic, because dancing is such a big part of this 'Guardians of the Galaxy' script.”

Diesel's "Guardians" character, Groot, of course, stole the show last year by dancing in the film's closing sequence. It was pretty much the cutest thing we've ever seen.

Groot isn't the only one who can dance, however.

Let us not forget this incredible video Diesel uploaded in 2014 -- captioned "You know I love music ..." -- of the movie star dancing to pop hits like Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" and Beyonce's "Drunk in Love."

You know I love music…

Drake isn't the only one who knows the power of awkward dad dancing.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2017.
