Wales first-five eighth Dan Biggar won't be serenading the All Blacks in the dead-rubber third test in Dunedin, he says.

Instead, he'll be aiming for an underdog victory.

The 26-year-old said the world champions had been ruthlessly efficient in dispatching his Welsh side with strong second-half performances in the Auckland and Wellington tests.

He expected more of the same on Saturday but demanded his side last the full 80 minutes.

"As a team, any mistakes cost you points against the top teams in the world," Biggar told reporters on Wednesday.

"It's not about just going down to Dunedin to finish off our season and get on the plane on Sunday, and serenade the All Blacks a little bit.

"It's about getting in amongst them."

Halfback Rhys Webb said beating the All Blacks in New Zealand would always be always worth pursuing, and hoped to repeat his try-scoring exploits from the first test.

"Everyone is going to talk them up and quite rightly so, they've been excellent," Webb said.

"But it's certainly not our mindset."

Two moments of Beauden Barrett brilliance pushed New Zealand over the line in Wellington on Saturday, as the super-sub scored one try and put on another in three minutes.

With Barrett expected to replace the injured Aaron Cruden at fly-half and halfback Aaron Smith on his Highlanders home turf, Biggar said his side needed to be on red alert.

"He's lightning quick and really got some pace and offers something probably different to what Aaron Cruden does," Biggar said.

"It's tailor-made for him when games break up around the 50-55 minute mark, when defences start to tire."

Biggar, also a big football fan, said his side would take inspiration from the Welsh national team's efforts at Euro 2016, where they have qualified for the knockout stage.
