Wanted man found in Lower Hutt

NZ NewswireNZ Newswire 1/08/2016

More than a month after allegedly removing his electronic monitoring bracelet, a man considered dangerous has been arrested just a few kilometres from where he went missing.

Lydon Keil, 31, was arrested in central Lower Hutt, police said on Tuesday morning.

There is no date yet for his court appearance.

At the end of June police began looking for Keil after he allegedly removed his bracelet and went missing from his address in nearby Wainuiomata.

He was facing charges following an incident in February where three men went to a woman's home and threatened her with a gun.
