Ware in line for world rookie sevens award

Waikato winger Ware, 21, has impressed enough in his first international campaign to be included on a World Rugby shortlist which also features Argentina's Bautista Ezcurra, Australian Henry Hutchison and Samoan Phoenix Hunapo-Nofoa.

The nominations are based on performances across the first nine rounds of the world series and former New Zealand schools international Ware has scored 15 tries.

The winner will be announced after the final round in London this weekend.
