Rookies Jazz Tevaga and Nathaniel Roache will again share the dummy half duties in an unchanged Warriors NRL side to face South Sydney in Auckland.

With frontline hooker Issac Luke out with a knee injury, Tevaga and Roache each had 40 minutes of game time in the Warriors' 24-14 away win over Gold Coast last weekend, with Tevaga in the starting 13.

The two 20-year-olds made a combined 59 tackles, and missed none, an effort not lost on coach Andrew McFadden.

"We defended really well as a team against the Titans, and Jazz and Nate definitely contributed at a high level," McFadden said on Tuesday.

"We had a lot of confidence going into the game that they could do the job. It was a little different to the way we've been playing, but it's great that we can call on anyone and they go out there and do it."

McFadden said Luke's operation on Monday had gone well and it was hoped he would be back for the last match of the regular season against Parramatta on September 4.

The Warriors, who host South Sydney on Saturday night, go into the latest round sitting eighth on the table.

They are six places and 10 points above the Rabbitohs, who are looking to break a nine-game losing streak.
