Wellington driveway murder trial next year

The man accused of murdering his partner, art dealer Delia Williams, in a Wellington driveway will go on trial next year.

Mark David Stevens' case was dealt with in the High Court at Wellington on Monday, where the three-week hearing was set to start on March 13.

The 58-year-old accountant is charged with murder, drink driving and assault using a motor vehicle following Ms Williams' death in March this year. He denies the charges.

The 55-year-old Ms Williams died after she was struck by a car in the suburb of Northland.
