Russell Westbrook's third straight triple-double inspired the Oklahoma City Thunder in a 112-103 victory over the New York Knicks.

Westbrook finished with 27 points, 18 rebounds and 14 assists in his eighth triple-double of the season - and he is now averaging 30.9 points, 11.3 assists and 10.3 rebounds per game.

He almost had it done by half-time as he went to the locker room with 14 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists at the break.

Enes Kanter chipped in with 28 points and 10 rebounds as the Thunder won their third straight game, rallying from 11 down in the first quarter.

Thirty points from Derrick Rose could not extend New York's six-game home winning streak.

The Golden State Warriors needed two blocks from Draymond Green in the final minute to hold off the Atlanta Hawks and record their 12th straight win.

The Warriors prevailed 105-100 thanks to Green's tenacious defence and a big effort from the Big Three.

Kevin Durant had 25 points and 14 rebounds while Stephen Curry scored 25 points and Klay Thompson added 20.

The Washington Wizards needed overtime to sink the Sacramento Kings in the capital.

Bradley Beal finished with 31 points, hitting seven three-pointers, while John Wall had 19 points and 11 assists.

However, Wall committed a career-high 11 turnovers on a night when the Wizards coughed up the ball 24 times to help Sacramento stick around.

DeMarcus Cousins was arguably a bigger factor however as he piled up 36 points and 20 rebounds.

George Hill had 28 points, eight rebounds and four assists as the Utah Jazz won their third in a row, beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 112-103.

Twenty-one points apiece for Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb inspired the Charlotte Hornets to a 104-85 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Kyle Lowry was perfect from three-point range, hitting six from deep on his way to 24 points as the Toronto Raptors cruised to a 122-95 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Boston Celtics beat the Miami Heat 112-104 behind 25 points from Isaiah Thomas.
