CAPITAL INFRASTRUCTURE:

* $11 billion in new capital infrastructure spending over four budgets.

HOUSING:

* $ 2.23b over four year for stage one of the 10-year Crown Building Project to build 34,000 homes in Auckland.

HEALTH:

* $2b pay equity settlement to 55,000 health care workers

* $60 million over four years for Pharmac

* $59.2m over four years to double-crew ambulances

* $21m over four years for emergency air ambulance services and ambulance communication centres.

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT:

* $321m social development package of 14 initiatives including $68.8 million for vulnerable children.

ARTS:

* $309m for New Zealand screen industry production grants, including $222m for international projects and $63.9m for domestic.

TOURISM AND CONSERVATION:

* $76m for new and upgraded Department of Conservation tourism infrastructure

* $21.3m for the Battle for our Birds campaign.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT:

* $74.6m for research and development projects through Innovative New Zealand.

PRIMARY INDUSTRIES:

* $63m for new capital support investment in construction of regional irrigation infrastructure

* $26.7m over three years for matched grant funding to regional irrigation schemes.

MAORI DEVELOPMENT:

* $27m for marae and Maori housing.

HERITAGE:

* $8.1m over two years to fund Archive New Zealand's Wellington repository and $2.1m to improve its capital infrastructure.

EDUCATION:

* $5.2m for Teach First NZ to fund new teachers

* $2m for mentoring programme to convert provisionally certified teachers to full registration.
