An unbeaten century from Amy Satterthwaite has set up a 60-run White Ferns victory over Pakistan in the rain-affected second women's one-day international at Lincoln.

The New Zealanders reached 309-4 off their 50 overs, but rain forced a brief halt early in Pakistan's chase, then a more permanent one when they were 142-4 two balls into the 35th over.

Satterthwaite's 137 was her third ODI century, and bettered her previous highest score by 28 runs.

Skipper Suzie Bates (32) and Rachel Priest (27) put on 53 for the first wicket before Satterthwaite and Katey Martin settled in for a 150-run third wicket partnership.

Satterthwaite's century came off 102 balls, and she went on to add 37 runs off the next 15 balls.

Martin contributed 65 off 72, and allrounder Sophie Devine 34 from 29.

In reply, Parkistan reached 24-1 off 7.2 overs before rain halted play. On resumption, Nain Abidi (45) and Nahida Khan (33) constructed a 76-run stand for the second wicket, but Bates struck twice and Thamsyn Newton once before rain set in again.

The White Ferns lead the five-match series 2-0 after cruising to a first-up eight-wicket victory over Pakistan at Lincoln on Wednesday.

The third match is at the same venue on Sunday.
