New Zealand's three golfers on the US PGA Tour have settled for solid if unspectacular finishes at the latest event in California.

Tim Wilkinson was the biggest mover in the fourth round of the CareerBuilder Challenge in La Quinta, closing with a three-under 69.

He joined Steve Alker in a share of 25th on 10-under while Danny Lee was two strokes back in 41st.

Kiwi No.1 Lee faded over the weekend after sitting one-shot off the lead at the midway point.

American journeyman Hudson Swafford birdied three of the last four holes to clinch his first PGA Tour title by one shot.

His 67 left him one stroke clear of overnight leader Adam Hadwin of Canada, who set the tournament alight with his third-round 59.
