Three armed men allegedly invaded a home in Palmerston North last Sunday and struck a victim with a bat before getting away with stolen computers, phones and a television.

Police have appealed for information about the robbery after the men struck and threatened the occupants of the Tyne Street address at about 9:30pm.

Manawatu CIB Detective Konrad Tamati said the house's three occupants had been joined at the time by two visitors.

"After being threatened, a number of items were taken - including wallets and cellphones, a Playstation 4 console, electric guitar, TV set, and two laptop computers," he said.

All three offenders are described as Pacific Islanders or Maori and wearing dark clothing with their motorcycling mask or bandanas partially concealing their faces.

One of them had facial tattoos in what appeared to be a spiral pattern on each cheek, Det Tamati said.
